Exec Board Checks Out The 150 @ KBVY

Clear blue skies, wispy white clouds, and light gusts of wind welcomed the MIT Flying Club’s (MITFC) executive board on Sunday morning as they headed out for their first group outing for the academic year 2019-20.

The team got off to an early start, leaving MIT’s campus at 8:30 am, and drove out to Beverly Airport (KBVY) to test fly and get acclimated with the Cessna 150 that belongs to Tech Flight Corporation.

The newly elected MITFC executive board got some time to bond together.

They also had the opportunity to literally spread their wings and enjoy amazing views of a crisp day in late September over Beverly, MA. Congrats to Chris Rinard (Secretary) for successfully getting checked out in the Cessna 150 during the outing!

Note:
Tech Flight Corporation is not affiliated with MIT. It is an entity set up by MIT alumni to own, operate, and make aircrafts available for non-profit flight training. MITFC members will have access to a Cessna 150 based at Beverly Regional Airport (KBVY) through the Corporation.
